Yacht Quo Vadis

We abandoned Quo Vadis to the care of Abu Tig Marina and took an 8 day trip along the Nile…

Dolphin Reef is in Egyptian territorial waters, although we are tolerated there without permit or clearance, landing on the mainland (like inadvertant border crossing!) is not allowed by the ever present military!

By early February Quo Vadis had served her time in Salalah, we were both back in Oman, yachts were coming into port daily from the Maldives, we were ready to join them and move on!

After a few days checking affairs in Salalah and finding all was well, I flew to India …

As I wrote in my last web story, Dubai on the first time around did not impress me, but I was pleased to find it much better on the second.

There could be worse places to stay…
