It was just a short day-trip from Miri in Sarawak to Kuala Belait in Brunei.

We approached the entrance to the Santubong River in the early hours of the morning, and the hills arose out of the morning mist; we had spent a night sailing slowly across the wide bay to ensure that we would arrive after daylight.
The work all completed and our land travel done we set out again from Singapore, eager to be back cruising.
As our Singapore News story has told, 2007 hasn’t proven to be the year of fine time cruising that we had hoped!
